In the heart of the charming white town of Ostuni, in Via Don Luigi Sturzo, you will find the tastefully furnished domicile La Maison N° 75.

The charming ground floor holiday home is located directly in the centre of the new town. Whether bar or boutique, ladies' hairdresser or restaurant, supermarket or souvenir shop, you have everything in your vicinity. Ostuni's main shopping street Viale Pola is just a minute's walk away. You can go down to the picturesque, fascinating old town, which looks like an oriental kasbah', in just a few minutes.

The attractive home has a bedroom with a double bed; a living room with a pull-out sofa bed for 2 more people; a bathroom and kitchenette. (The downstairs area, separated by a door, is not included in the rental).

La Maison N° 75 symbolises the encounter between elegant Mediterranean living and contemporary comfort. Italophile and Francophile hearts will beat faster here! The elegant living room with a large window front and opaque curtain is characterised by antique Provençal furniture and a heavy, original wooden chest from 1681 that could have come from Pirates of the Caribbean, a real eye-catcher. The warm ambience is also subtly and impressively underlined by the peach colour on the four walls in the living and sleeping areas.

Even though the flat may be located on the street, it definitely has atmosphere and feel-good character. You can see that the landlady has a great weakness for pictures. An interesting mix of southern French coastal landscapes, Italian motifs from contemporary art and antique pictures and prints adorn the walls.

The classic bedroom has a brown iron bed (hard mattresses), an antique Apulian chest of drawers, a family heirloom, and an antique wardrobe from Friuli (without hanging space). It is located in the rear area; the window looks out onto a light well and the house wall.

The kitchenette with white, carpenter-made drawers is adorned with a beautiful white-green marble top. The white and green bathroom has a crystal shower and bidet.

While the ceiling height is very high in the living room and bedroom, it is rather low in the kitchenette and in a corner of the bathroom.

La Maison N° 75 is an interesting alternative to accommodation by the sea. You can reach the magnificent coast in a few minutes by car (7 km).

Life and hustle and bustle, seeing and being seen take place in Ostuni's old town during the summer months. A walk up to the cathedral, an aperitivo at the Borgo Antico Bistrot, a stroll through the small boutiques, and a nice dinner on the outdoor terraces. Pure lifestyle! This is how to enjoy a holiday…

Arrival and departure

Keys can be picked up between 14:00 and 17:00

On the day of departure the house must be left between 07:00 and 09:30, with the
floor swept, the crockery and cutlery washed and the rubbish sacks taken outside.

Location

The holiday home is located directly in the centre of Ostuni (new town). Within walking distance you will find all shops for daily use as well as boutiques, restaurants and bars. The main shopping street Viale Pola can be reached in 1 minute on foot.

The charming old town of Ostuni with the cathedral, the old ring wall and the many typical local restaurants is just a 6-7 minute walk away.

Numerous excursion possibilities:

Ostuni, especially the old town - well worth a visit during the day when it is bathed in sunlight and in the evening when it is illuminated -, Grottaglie , the ceramic town; Martina Franca ; Monopoli with its charming harbour; Castel del Monte , Trani and Giovinazzo near Bari; the Itria Valley characterised by its innumerable trulli, with places like Alberobello and Locorotondo ; in the south of Puglia, the charming baroque city of Lecce, the "Florence of the south", like the whole of Salento, etc.
